Paul was amazing! He was super attentive and very sweet. He gave great drink choices. He left my friends laughing and joyful for her birthday. Definitely will be back again.

This place is absolutely adorable! I highly recommend making reservations because when we arrived, there was a line out the door for those without them. Thankfully, we were seated immediately upon checking in. They do enforce a 2-hour max at the table, which I think is fair since the food comes out quickly, and they time the appetizers and main courses well. I was initially skeptical about the egg rolls, but they were surprisingly delicious--especially with the queso drizzle! I ordered the Montrose Bennie and loved it. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the salad it came with--I just didn't think it complemented the Benedict well. But that's probably just me since I'm picky about salads and dressings. For drinks, I had the mango lemonade, which was very sweet--I had to water it down a bit. The restaurant also has a cute sunflower wall for photo ops, which is a nice touch. One thing to note: valet is the only parking option, and the lot is a little tight, but the attendants were quick and efficient. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot for a cute brunch, but make those reservations online--trust me on this one! Also, check out the menu ahead of time so you don't waste your 2-hour limit deciding what to order.

The food was delicious! I had the sunrise sangria, catfish with cheesy grits and greens. My server Chloe was awesome! She was so attentive. The restaurant is esthetically pleasing and great for a date, time with family, or friends.

This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Houston! I've been here 4 times during the week and weekend, and they've always been consistent. The space is super cute, and they always add decor based on the holiday/season. The service is always exceptional and the servers attentive. The food is great! They offer complimentary honey butter croissants. The breakfast fried rice and strawberry matcha are my favorite items on the menu and both must haves! I've also had their waffles, there wasn't anything special about them but not bad. If you're going on a weekend, I would recommend making a reservation because they do get busy.

I had an awesome business brunch at the Sunrise House, and it was the perfect setting and solid choice for a productive yet stylish meeting. I ordered the Montrose Bennie which was incredibly delicious- so flavorful and rich. The dish featured a Cajun crab cake topped with a perfectly poached egg and a rich hollandaise sauce, served with a refreshing citrus salad. The flavors were fantastic - the crab cake was well seasoned with a nice crispy exterior, and the hollandaise sauce had just the right touch of buttery goodness. I am always a sucker for a good hollandaise sauce! The citrus salad was a light, tangy contrast that helped balance the richness of the dish. I will say, however, I didn't read that the dish came with the salad. When our server brought it out, it looked beautiful, but it also visually seemed too healthy, so I kind of side-eyed it at first. Lol. While the meal was delicious, I felt like $27 was a bit steep for what is essentially an elevated sandwich. It was enjoyable, but I expected a bit more in terms of portion size or sides for that price. That being said, the atmosphere was fantastic - vibrant, playful, and full of personality. The space is decorated with bold murals, lush greenery, and a sheet black, white, and yellow color scheme that makes for stunning pictures. It's the sort of place that instantly puts you in a good mood, and I had a blast taking pictures! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Our server was super kind and patient especially since that was our first time there. After my colleague had to leave, the staff went out of their way to help me capture some great shots, which I really appreciated. Their attentiveness and hospitality made my visit more amazing. Overall, The Sunrise House offers a fresh and chic brunch experience with great flavors and top-notch service. If you're looking for a spot with an Instagram-worthy aesthetic and don't mind the price, it's worth checking out!

This is a great place for brunch. The parking lot is small, but available during the week. During busy times and weekends there's valet only. The interior is super cute, and I've always had good service here. They have consistently good food. I've been maybe 3 times now. And I'm not sure when it started but last time I went, there were complimentary croissants. They were really good (reminds me of Cheddars) and a nice touch. The catfish is always fire and my go to. The breakfast fried rice portion is huge but I recommend it for sharing. The only thing I haven't really care for were the coffee & matcha selections I've had. I had some sort of iced mocha drink last time I went.
